Faze oil pressure gauge

I was wondering if I could get rid of my oil sending unit to hook up my guage. My guage in my dash never worked since I had it. When i start the car it goes to H then to L. Thanks in advance

It could just be wiring. Have you looked to see if it is still connected? The sender is forward of oil filter, and should have a rubber boot that wire goes into.

what's a guage? Is that anything like a gauge? Are you saying that you want to disconnect the sender to put in an another gauge? I'm not clear on what you're asking.

Sry I spelled gauge wrong. I have a faze oil pressure gauge it's an aftermarket I guess thats what you would call it. I want to hook it up to my motor. My stock gauge never worked it has the wire running to it. When I start the car the little arm on the gauge goes all the way to H then to below L. So I was wondering if I could remove my sending unit and just hook it there? Thanks
