Marker lights stay on?

Hey guys so as i walk outside today i notice my marker lights are on.
Now i know i turned them off because there auto turn off. So i cycle the light switch all the way on. My headlights come up and on. I cycle the switch down the headlights turn off and marker lights stay on.

I pop the hood and disconnect the negative cable one head light goes down the other stays up WTF??? i reconnect the neg. batt. cable the lights exchange places one goes up the other goes down so i turn the up one to the down position. Thru all of this the marker as long as they have a ground they are on. We have had alot of rain the past few days and i was driving thru some of the harder stuff yesterday for about an hour. Any ideas????? Thanks guys

could be a sticking relay if there is one on the circuit. i had this happen to my 92 celica. the parking lights would stay on. i removed the relay and it plastic cover and cleaned the contacts and added a little dielectric grease and it has not done it since.

Cool Thanks i went out today plugged the battery back up and i guess she needed to try out the problems has resolved it's self. But this just means i have to go thru my electrical system and see what needs to be water proofed again
