I am on the fence, has anyone had good luck running a good aftermarket in-line fuel pump? Or should I try and find a newer tank and go the way of the herd with an in tank pump?
I am planning on 350 hp

I am very happy with the Carter (P70199) I am running. It outflows the Walbro (95PSI max/257-352 LPH) and it is not hard to find for under $120. The only problem I found is that the stock wiring cannot keep up with the pump, but it is a simple enough circuit to wire it to 10g wire.

Thank you, even had the part number! I will probably go with this one or the aeromotive 11109. and for everyone shopping for fuel pumps and ever need to convert standard to metric, I found this really useful website. Makes this stuff easy as hell

No problem, just remember that you may want to upgrade the power wire for the pump, but you do not have to worry about the wiring for the rest of the fuel pump relay (the green "circuit opening relay" behind the drivers side kick panel).
I am running 10g wire from the batt, through a 20a fuse, to an on/off switch (fuel cut), to the relay, and back to the pump.
