Aight so yea, my truck has been my DD this week. It's been great. Just as much fun to drive around in as my Supra, although the reasons why are different.

Anyways, I just fixed the gas leak on the truck. Was leaking from the dual-tank selector valve. Swapped one on from a junkyard truck after blowing it out with compressed air. Let it idle and she never starved of fuel.

Last leak is a coolant leak coming from a freeze plug right above passenger side motor mount. You can get to it easier from up top but you can actually see it best from underneath. I've never tackled freeze plugs.

I have a rubber mallet, but did buy the wrong punches for this job. Need longer ones for reach. Correct way is to tap a side right? Wire brush the block before putting the new one in and hit it dead center? Any other ways to do this? I just don't want the next one to leak.

Yup, that's about it. You could press the new one in as much as you can, then tap around the edge evenly to drive it into the hole. You could also measure the hole and install a block heater instead, to help start the truck on those cold wintery mornings. Hope it goes in easy for you!

Appreciate it. Yea, I plan to drain the coolant...again, remove the motor mount that the plug is directly above, remove and install. I also have $300 worth of audio equipment to install in her too haha.
