i know theres a couple decent engines at a wrecker i can get, maybe dogstar can pitch in but i think theres a B16 there, anyone think it could be worth it for kicks, weighs about 2000 lbs. could have a nice stereo easily too. bodys rusty so it definetly makes a sleeper. any ideas, just asking!

Sell the accord and put your money into a turbo...the honda drivers dont think we are fast anyway so the supra is already a "sleeper" to them

That's a wheel. Engine bays look like this:http://groups.msn.com/40e16mgo/guesswhat.msnw?action=ShowPhoto&PhotoID=283
Stupid Honda drivers  j/k
Really your call what you want to do with the money. Depending on how much the B16 is you could probably make your Supra sleepery too.

the best "sleeper" Honda I ever saw was a 468cid CRX ( engine sat in the back, RWD )
my best suggestion for a sleeper FWD car is to make it RWD
:D :D :D

i think i get the brunt of what you all think about it. wasn't to serious about it unless someone came on here saying oh this engine bolts right in or something. the supra would be nicer to sup up thats for sure. and its even righ in the name SUPra so sup it up right :) !
Also i have been beat by a civic too! and i saw a CRX with a massive front mount intercooler that could probably eat me alive. his tires cost about as much as all the money i spent on my supra too.

My best sleeper car was oddly enough an 89 Honda Accord. All I did to it was the civic air intake and filter, and even with a couch strapped to the roof I still beat a crappy civic with its loud exhaust and boogered up whatever was under the hood. What I'd really like to see, is a Geo Metro with oh, say a 7mgte or something under the hood. Lotta modification, but how funny would that be, to smoke ricers with what's generally a stock 3 cylinder...

Its funny you said that Iv heard that there are a couple of guys running around in Geo Metros with some Suzuki 4cyl Trubo engine swaps. They say they run 12's  Now that is KILLER

If I made a sleeper, Id use a fiero. Even with their 100hp engines those suckers can fly. So many engines are compatable with them as well or put a turbo on them.

yea I talked to a guy that came into my store (radioshack) and he was getting some wire and connectors and stuff for some guages but he pulled up in what appeared to be a stock fiero (V6 model) and well he told me that he did a motor swap into it. I'm like what did you put into it (thinking he might have put a 4.3 V6 or something in it) he was like nope...that wasn't enough power.....he put a Northstar motor in it. I was like how on earth did you get that to fit. he said it actually fit with very little modifications. I would hate to come into contact with that thing on the street.

There is a company here in Toronto that does the Fiero V8 swap.
The "little" modification entails lengthening and strengthening the mid section frame rails. Other than that, pretty straight forward and scary as hell

Here's a Northstar I found in a 1st gen MR2. The whole process:

Perfect match for the Fiero.. Would like to see there 1/4 miles..

the northstar is actually a very popular swap for fieros, so is the 3800 series motors. there actually pretty easy to swap, you can even use the stock 5-speed, but why the hell would you even try to do that. my friend did some research into that.
