alot of people here seem to think i gave tanya the motor for free. it wasnt exactly free. we agreed upon a price for all the stuff i gave her and she is gonna make payments whenever she can. i know what its like to be broke and wasnt gonna use the motor so can take the payments on it. and the block i gave eric was under the stipulation that he would give me his block when his engine is taken apart. we did this to lower the down time of the car. im by no means a saint. just wanted to clear that up.

Two things:
1 - Who cares what others think?
2 - That was nice of you regardless.

*takes back beer offer from other thread*

I owe you two beers next meet I see you at.

One for being a good guy about parts for other supra owners.
...and one for being honest about not taking credit where its not due.

Hey, that's still awesome that you gave her a deal on the engine. I was just playin' when I said you should give me your spare 7M. I didn't know for sure if you'd given the engine away for free or not, but my respect for your integrity just went up. :D

I can make some good drinks and you can't even taste a bit of alcohol, but it's there

willy, take it from me, the resident alcoholic, toss 3oz of topshelf vodka into that 20oz bottle of mtdew and it'll start tasting much much better.

tanya, ive had plenty of people say if its mixed right you cant taste it. and guess what, I still can, and since I can taste it and dont like it I dont drink it. i could care less if anyone else drinks it or not. just not for me. plus, this way i wont have to ever worry about driving home too soon after getting drunk. :D

Ditto. I've had long arguements about this. "You can't taste it!" "Yes I can, damnit!"

the trick is learning to appreciate it, if you have any interest in drinking that is. I never liked the taste of alcohol either but have grown to appreciate it in certain drinks. Still can't stand beer though, but that has little to do with the alchol. Especially since there's so little in most beers. Always makes me wonder when people try and knock me for not drinking beer when the drink I'm drinking has like twice the alcohol their beer does and I can drink just as many of them as they can :P

i agree with emohawk... i figured there was some kinda deal, but it was still good of you to help tanya out.

as far as the alcohol...i can make a drink no one will taste.

bacardi151
pepsi
orange juice

if you tell me you taste 151 ill cut it with moonshine, just dont breath when you drink it and dont let the vapors get in your eyes

You ever try that in a motor? Probably get really good gas mileage.
