Well on my way home last night on the 3 lane hwy. a 64ish corvet stingray with a kick ass loud exaust went flying by mega fast. As soon as I saw him I
stood on it in 5th and went rosting by him! he tryed to keep up but no go untill he cought up to me on the off ramp I guess he was a bit up set and went zippin past me again and this time I saw the 427 on the hood! so I followed for a bit as we headed past my house and up into the Highlands
into the twisty stuff. We were going along pretty good and I was right behind him pushing for more! Then we cought up to a car ahead so the vet slowed
right down and so did I once the car infront got a ways a head I pulled up to the vet and gave him a nod he nodded back and we rolled out hard in first
I lead out into the twisty Highland roads and never saw him again!

Man dose it ever feel good to eat 30T $$ vets in my 3T $$ beatter!!

Reminds me of the time I followed a Shelby Cobra (must have been a real one and not a replica, as it had an antique car license plate).

Except when he wanted to leave me, he left me. All I saw was a tiny wisp of smoke come from the exhaust, and ZOOM.

I used to work security and one of the guys had an original shelby cobra, I convinced him to take me for a ride. That was a great 5 mins in my life.

Ahh, my dream car  ... seriously, about 2500 lbs and easily tuned to over 500 HP, how can you not love it. Had a similar experience to the Cobra deciding it was tired of being follow; I was following a 427 vette (the 68-72 body style), and when he decided to leave me *BAM* he was gone. It was pretty amazing (wouldn't mind one of those, either)

427 wasn't built until 66 and in mass 67.In a straight line, even a 7mgte would be hard pressed to keep up.
