so at my work we have these ac units and a resistor blew and we need to buy new ones but i cant source up one locally so I am sent to the good ole internet to find one now. If im not mistake its a 3.6k resistor and its fairly big, about the size of a standard #2 pencil (pic below) all the ones i am seeing are like 1-4 watt ones and this one is obviously bigger. Do any of you have sources that sell these or know of anywhere that does?
thanks,
William Macy

oh and there are 2 twisted together so I dont loose them just for the count

I believe the resistor is 360 ohms 5% tolerence.
Possibly 5 watts (pencil size).
You can get the part at Radio Shack or any other electronics parts store.
Take the resistor with you to match the physical size.
The larger the physical size the higher the wattage.

Check local electronics repair shops.
Note electronics, not electrical.
You can do a google search for your town for electronics repair.
The shops that repair tv's stereo's etc. will have the parts.
Good Luck!
