For those states & provinces where the front plate isn't required.
It's the only plate I would put in front of mine.
Maybe it could be added in the items carrying the cs logo that may be
made available.
will see with the poll if there is enough locations to justify it.

The CS.com logo is cool but if you don't have to run a front plate (like I do) then why would you? Front license plates clutter the front of the car not mention restrict air flow. Maybe someone who had their car at a show (how many MK2 showcars are there?) would put them on to cover up their real plates? Don't mean to be discouraging, just my opinion.

I like the idea actually. In California, a front plate "is" required, but most people drive around with only the back one on. Police seem to only use the lack of a front plate as an excuse to pull someone over for "other" reasons...like suspicious behavior or something.

Would be very cool to have some aluminum plates done up for shows etc. I'd put one on my MkII - in fact, I have a front plate cover that keeps the bugs/rocks from nailing it. What do you think Malloy?

I would run this on my front plate, BUT..... I would only do this for very special events. For the plastic TRD plate I have (you can sort of see it in my avatar), I only install it 2x a year. Once for the PacNW meet @ the Baxters Historical Races, the other time is during the entire week @ Vegas.

The rest of the time, the "normal" front license plate is there. Since both Supra's have personalized plates, I have no issue about leaving it on there. Both of my front plates have plastic covers on them also.

Plus I'm now hearing too many stories about how either the local police or the Washington State Patrol are cracking down on peeps who don't have front plates & they are being rather anal about it. So this is one less thing that I'll be yelled about should I be pulled over.

Hell yeah, that's what I was thinking! Although my front plate is already offset to the right side for this very reason. Damn NY state and their front plates! Can't wait to move to Florida 8)

I'd be down to get a plate frame though.

I think a license plate would be cool even if you DON'T put it on your car. It's just a cool novelty item.
Hang it on your wall or garage
Maybe put it somewhere else IN the car ( ontop the cargo cover? )
Put it in a frame
Put it on your desk

The plate frame would be great in my opinion. Much rather have that since most of the time, people are going to be looking at the back side of the car anyway...
