I got things squared away with the sale of the house in Pullman and will be closing on a Condo next week. In other words, I finally know for sure when I will have a free weekend to put this on.
SUNDAY JUNE 12, 2011 at 12:00 NOON

If you need the address or don't remember how to get here send me a PM.
We will provide hamburgers and hot dogs but encourage anyone attending to bring a side dish such as a salad (fruit salad, potatoe salad, ceasar salad), chips & dip, cookies, drinks (no alcohol please, we'll be driving after lunch), paper plates, napkins, plastic forks/knives/spoons, steak to throw on the grill if you're too good for hamburgers and hot dogs, etc.
Also, you might want to bring one of those colapsable lawn/camping chairs, if you have one, as we usually run out of places to sit while eating on the back deck.
We'll leave to go on the cruise around 2:30-3:00-ish (whenever people are done eating). The cruise route has not been decided yet but typically lasts a couple of hours. Snoqualmie falls is a nice destination and the upper parking lot is normally quite empty. But I'm open to suggestions or a vote on where to go just before we leave the BBQ.
Please RSVP by posting in this thread and say what you are bringing as a side dish so we don't get too much of the same kinds of side dish (10 bags of potatoe chips for example)
Also, if we get a really big turn out there will be overflow parking in the business's parking lot just to the West of the house. We have to leave a few spaces open for people that want to tend to their gardens in the Pea Patch. I'll try to mark those spots off with cones or tape or something so you know where not to park.

As soon as this bathroom project is done, the black supra is going up on ramps to see what her issues are. Hopefully this will get done and maybe some new tread for the cruise. :)

Just a minor update.... bathroom project is nearing completion but I do not see me being able to purchase new tread for the black supra before the 12th. Pretty sure this puts me out of any cruise for the summer. Money has gone from tight to beyond manageable.

There's a pickup in that line too :P. I'm the same way. Gotta pull this off or out,if I can do the "vacation thing" with my boss.I DON'T have week ends off, guys. I have enough money for gasoline;it's the time off from work that puckers me up.Last time at Dave's was 2006? He has pix of me waking up inside my car at 10 friggin' AM.Cruel. BEST "fun run" I ever had, despite the hangover. There is a joke in there, somewhere. A little early to think about December? Not me.

Think you can do better than Rich? He can out BBQ the both of you dudes. Depend on who you ask.
NEVER say UN-fuck you. That takes away the anticipation.Or the relief. Or the fear. "YA" both gonna do Kirkland? Shall we expect an even dozen of hot dog eaters, then? I can bring some Boca Burgers for those on a diet of "NO MEAT FOR ME" dudes.
The fat boys will love these.Skinny boys, too!

Its really looking like this meet is one that I will never be able to attend. Once again, even though its at a completely different time of year, I have a conflicted booking. Really important autox for me on this day. Maybe next year!

Dave(DDD), you crack me up. Meat for the Meet? Lets Meet for some Meat? Everybody should bring something, Dave(Tech26) and his parents deserve some payback for their generosity in the past. Also, theres a great festival going on in Sammammish that day, called Tastin and Racin. Hydros, Hot Rods, Food Vendors, Beer gardens, all at the state park, not far from Snoqualmie.......Maybe a good after party spot.

Been a while since i was a Dave's place in Kirkland. I'll PM for directions.NO! A map. I won't know if I can be excused from work on a Sunday until 2 days B-4 the event. I'm in the Green Lake N. Seattle area.Maybe some one going over 520 I can meet with about 11 AM to go EAST?
A Park and Puke is fine. I'll give you my cell number. If some member wants to go I am in need of a co-pilot but it's only a 5M (slush box)car.
It may be a HOT one, that day so be sure your cooling system is happy.
I LIKE beer.

OOPS,I should have followed you all.
I thought the "run for fun was done".I split off at the Falls and headed home.
Great weather-sunny and not too hot. LOT'S of meat at Dave's place. Dave's Dad cooked, layed it out and cleaned up,too! Thanks,Sid.
NO mishaps,no tickets,no break downs.
I got home and changed a light switch: 1 1/2 hours. Damn occupancy sensors! I love 'em.I'll get 2 more.
Mike,Craig's list has an 84 ,ya know?
2 weeks notice and I'll see you all again.Cannot wait until December: Toys for Tots, again.
Dave in Seattle.

Glad all that made it had a good time despite the low car count. I was hoping for 10-12 cars. We had 14 show up in 2007 I think. Better luck next year I guess.
Sorry the fun run on the way to the falls was boring, at least we caught all the green lights and didn't lose the people at the back of the group. I think I'll let Paul plan it out and lead us next year.
I got home and moved more furniture into the condo and unpacked some boxes. We didn't close on the place until the 27th and we've been working like crazy to get it fixed up and move in ready. Hopefully be living there starting Wednesday night.
