What is the best wheel spacer for the MKII. I found some good rims but they don;t fit so I now I need to know what spacer i should get. Thanks for any info..

your most likely going to have to get the custom made.

go to a local speed or tire shop and ask them who can machine up something like that, then talk to the guys there.

there are a couple places online that sell adaptors and spacers, but without knowing which wheels and what all the measurements are, we cant give you an answer.

As posted here before, DO NOT get spacers!!!! They will put a uneven load on your wheel bearings.

DO GET adapters instead!!!! 2 different things!!

Oh ok... Just that it is really hard to find some rims for the MKII. So I might need some spacer to fit some rims.

now what would the difference between spacers and adapters be?

i know spacers just change wheel offsets, but don't adapters also do that?

Adapters have their own lugs built in. Usually they have a different pattern on one side, i.e. 4 bolt to 5 bolts etc. HTH

I've got some adapters I bought awhile back. They're 1", 4x4.5"-to-4x100mm (the most common 4 lug application). I paid just over $200 for them; used them for a month.

I've got Demon Cambers now, so I don't need the adapters.

These wheels were robbed from a BMW I believe; +25mm offset(?)
