Ra65 celica gts

Im planning to swap in a 1uz into my 84 celica. I need to find out if anyone has motor mounts for this body style celica.. I've had some leads on tranny info to use with the the stock w58 i believe this car comes with. But most importantly I need to find the motor mounts. If there is anyone who can help me with this I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks

There 1uz mounts for a mx73 allowed a 1uz to be bolted into a mx32 cressida. If there are no difference for 5m mounts from cressida to supra, then it should theoretically allow a 1uz to be bolted into a ra65 celica.

The only problem is that 5m mounts do not work in a celica. ..

read about the 1uz mounts in the posted link. it says they work in all ma6 and ra6 body styles. all you need is your rubber parts that bolt to your cross member, these are the brackets that bolt onto your block.
i ordered a pair delivery time was good. products was good.

I looked at the link and it does say that it works on ra65 cars, but have you tried the mounts in a ra65 celica? As for the rubber parts did you use stock ones or urethane? Thanks for the info, greatly appreciate it.

If you use those motor mount brackets... your hood will not clear....:32: ask me how i know..lol

space your front crossmember down some.

i have looked into that... however if you plan on having a low car you need to space other items... front end link/sway bar mounts.. and additional length in the RCA's.

i would modify the subframe itself.. or get other engine brackets..

how much did it push into the hood?

your going to need custom hood work.

No, i have am going to shorten my motor mount pedestals on the cross member....
