I'm so happy I just had to tell the world! On 4/29 my original 84 Supra was totaled (not my fault!!!) and I was completely devastated (see Sob Story post). Well, I'm still pissed off about what that #%%&L^&$ did to my car, but I'm very very happy to report that I am once again the owner of an 84 Supra. *Happy Dance, Joy, Joy* This weekend my husband and I drove from S. Florida to N. Louisiana and came back with a beeeeauuuutiful 5speed white 84 Celica Supra with blue cloth interior. It's in ten times better condition than my last one. No dents and only minimal rust! Interior is in great condition. Runs great. Wow! I can't wait to start driving this baby! Woohoo! (Special thank you to Maurice in Louisiana who sold me this wonderful car! I'm gonna take real good care of it!).

WOW that's great girl!< Glad you weren't w/o a Mk2 for too long, hehe. Now I know I'm not the ONLY nutty girl that travels STATES away for Supras! We just drove to South Carolina to pick up a non-running L-type in good condition. I've also driven 500 miles for my aunts Supra. Paid $150 cab fare to pick up MY current Supra, heh
Get some pics of it quick, or you'll get harassed daily until you do, LOL
I hope to see it in person though

Thats great! Glad you got a good deal and keeping it in the family so to speak. I met Maurice a few weeks back when he was in town on business. Seemed to me too that he was a real cool guy as well as a fellow MSS sufferer (actually MGSS since he also had a mk1). He was on the hunt for an 86 tho. Something about that third brakelight he just had to have one. Hope he finds one now.

Allright, here's a link to the car. I just dropped it off at the shop for new tires, balancing, alignment, oil change, air filter - the works. I already told my husband that if anything ever happens to this car that he WILL have to bail me out of jail.
