The 6M-GTE has been fun, but I think it's time to move on. I now know the limitations of the S-AFC, and coupled with the rarity of aftermarket parts for the Mkii drivetrain, I've decided to go modern (somewhat).
I'm starting a 7M-GTE swap into my auto Red-pra and most likely a NA-T conversion in a GS300 or SC300. There's so many performance parts to be had, and even more reference for troubleshooting the turbo woes.
The Red-pra is getting a 17K mile 7M-GTE, turbo, trans, etc, etc from a Toyota Donor Division car I grabbed from a local trade school. Clean, clean engine.
My 6M-GTE car will be dismantled, or possibly sold whole, as a parts car for the right price. It has a salvage title which makes it worthless in its original state. But it's still a 13 second car, regardless.
I'm keeping the true-trac; I'm too attached.
I've got one more race, next weekend. Doubt I'll hit 12's, but I'll try. I just want to show the non-locals what the Mkii can do when it's under pressure. The locals know the car well.
Everbody say, "Farewell!"
