have you ever sold a car, only to buy it again?

so far ive managed to sell my car twice, then buy it back twice.

anyone else done this? or only me?

just did it with my motorbike
its been legally sold 8 or 9 times since i bought it in 96
the original dealership had sold it to another dealership, with a whopping 41 miles, from 1 demo day.
the 2nd dealers sold it to me, i sold it to my friend one year after buying it, then a week later i bought it back, then i sold it to a buddy in a neighboring city, he sold it to my friend, i bought it and rode it for a week before remembering why i sold it (Too fast!)

now, this doesnt sound too bad, but this was within 4 years, and i was the only person to put more than 100 miles on it.

i sold it to a dude in the states, who rode it, decided that the mods i had done made it too fast, and let his cousin take it on a test ride prior to selling it to him.
the cousin crashed it and didnt survive, the guy tried to sell it a few times, with no luck, and i heard about it, and my heart said i needed the bike back.
its currently sitting in my friends barn awaiting money and time.

lol, my sob story is done, damn, i never realized how confusing that all was.

:shock: how fast was the bike? And I have never sold then bought back a car although I have had sellers remorse and understand completely.

I sold this ghetto-ass Cutlass Supreme for really cheap to a friend, he fixed it up pretty well and sold it for more, then like 2 months later a letter in the mail says my car has been sitting unattended on the road for a week and it will be towed. We drove down to get her back and it was gone. I ALMOST got it back for free, after being fixed up!! That would have been cool as hell!!

but you just could go for it anyway, they took the off the car from the road but then you just to make a claim, pay about 200 or 300 dlls and tahts it, friend did that and sold again the car, after 80 dlls for the copy of title . . .
