I recently purchased a 1985 Toyota Supra produced in July of 85. What makes it an LE? Or has someone been clever enough in the past to just slapp on some emblems that say "Limited Edition" on the door handles? I've never heard of an LE MKII, although I never looked to see if they existed. I hope this wont make me look like a total ass, I'm just curious is all. :)

Hmm, seemingly more "LE" Supras coming out of the shadows, weird dealer stick ons have been suggested. Has anyone actually called Toyota and asked if there WERE any special/limited editions? This is like the 3rd or 4th Mk2 I've heard of recently that is supposedly a "limited edition"

got a pic of your door handle? wonder if it's the same as the one posted before...

No, Girlfriend los tthe digital over Spring break........ all those PA pics too..... But its just a regular 85 handle, with a "plaque" that says "limited edition"..... I didn't really notice any differences, except the top end of the engine was in the trunk....... and we had to pull it home..... Know of any links with pics, right off hand?

here's a DOHC thingy that I mistook for a LE, oops this is one of them I was thinking about, but I also found a thread in where the LE sticker or something was under the license plate

Maybe the LE stands for Luxury Edition or L-Type, that is if it is a l-type.

Yeah, deffinately a P-Type. Maybe it's gonna be worth millions.... Trade ya straight up for that mother board Jason.... I'll call Toyota Monday and see what they say about the limited edition.

Also, How do you set the bios on that junk mo-bo Jason?

when you first start it up it should tell you what key to hit to get into setup, the norm for most MB's are the DEL or F2 Keys.

I called and nobody at the dealer knew anything about it, nor did they have a # I can call to find out anything... kinda sucks.

I was looking in this months Hemmings Motor News. And they have an 84 Celica-Supra for sale. It says that is was a limited edition. In which each dealer only got one. This car has the lowest miles I've ever seen for sale. They said it only has 2,000 miles and has been properly stored the entire time. And it can be yours for the amazing price of $24,900.

Sorry for bringing up an old post, but did anybody ever find anything out about limited edition supra's?
