I think this is an 85 SDR P-type with L-type rims and a missing front fender flare??? Can't tell from the pics. Has anybody ever heard of a special edition Wide Wheeled TRD Supra :?: :?:

weird, looks like a p-type missing both front flares...? analog dash suggests it's a p-type right?
I think the "TRD" is an overplayed gimmick to get rid of this car
"wide wheeled"...LOL
the L-type wheels look sickly under the rear wheel flares
:?

This is a mongrel. It was obviously wrecked once upon a time and somebody salvaged it by putting an L-type front clip on it. Looks like they read about the airbox mod here on the forum tho so the seller can't be all bad. But the ad is definately overplayed.

Heh:

you need to open inside within rear-deck lid opened

Headlights with brights - folding - works

truck area gets wet

there are many little problems like a small bolt is used as a door hinge limiter pin, safety wire is used to hold on wipers. The exhaust pipe has broken at the muffler and someone split a bean can and hose clamped the two together - now - this does need fixed, even if daily driver, not loud yet!

Aside from the fact this guy obviously does not know how to write, this car is a beast. Hell, I think my 82 would be a better restore candidate (well, maybe not...), but eeeek. Run away! BUT... It comes with BRIGHTS!!! How many of our non-TRD Supra's came with Brights, eh??

theres nothing trd about this car, this guy is just a little "creative" with his add

Phill is right, this is just a standard 85 PType with maroon interior and Ltype fenders that some yahoo either smucked or thought the ltype fenders would look cool on. If you look at the engine bay shot you can see the insides of the fenders are brown, just like the car they're off of. Nice cover up

Original this car ain't, but with some serious tlc it could probably be made nice again. Expect rust on this car, his pics are all taken from angles to hide it.

Anyone notice in the description how he seemed to put the same thing in twice?

Ok guys i went and looked at this car...It is definitly through and through a p-type. It looks like someone...(not this guy) put those on w/o rubber strips. The runs and sounds ok....This guy doesn't know anything about this car at all. He bought it from his brother and he messes with more american muscle.

He didn't know that the trd was actually just a stick on decal and that there was no such thing as a trd edition...the rims are the 15" l-type rims...He was really a nice guy, just didn't know a lot about supras. The car has 100228 miles...he updated it...saying how i was impressed with the lack of rot from the underside...lol...It was probably 90% rust free...there was some little rust but not much. This car is not worth more than 500 though...I just went to look at another supra....lol.

the rear seats are like marroon but the fronts are gray, the rest of the interor is maroon...ehh i can't type anymore...anyone have any other questions about this car?
