I just changed my fuel filter in my Supra without the benefit of a jack, or even lifting it. And it's lowered.
I can climb under my car without jacking it up... thats pretty bad
Yes, it is a PITA to change though.
Oh well, car runs good again. :D

ha, it's just bad when a GUY that is taller than me is almost the same weight, LOL
I'm 5'4" and 135lbs. but I just had a baby in March and I wasn't allowed to exercise for 6 weeks after and then I just had surgery, so now I can actually work on the fatness.
although I can still squeeze under the car w/o a jack, boobs get in the way though...

It's better with a jack, I had scratches all over my chest from the underside of the car. Not to mention I could barely breathe.
Waited til today so I can have a lift to fix it. I forgot to put 2 of the copper washers back in, so I've been leaking gas everywhere.
Boobs are much better than being able to fit under a car.

Sadly, having fuel leaking everywhere hasn't changed my milage per tank.
And my steering rack is clean. :P
The 2 washers are currently sitting on the back of my hand. And I have to go wake up my friend so I can get access to a lift at his school.
My car reaks of gas now though. I think I'm gonna have to leave Krispy Kream donuts in it all the time so it starts smelling better.

I actualy weighed more when I was doing drugs  Sat around, got loaded, watched tv and ate, even when on " dietary  " drugs.
Now I'm way too active, even with a bad back.
As for fixing cars without a jack/hoist...I try not too.The scuffed ribs don't feel to good for a few days  Used to be able to change the starter in a 70 Cougar,no lift, one wrench, one dirty hand.....5 minutes.I change fluids in everything without a lift, any other work....goes on stands,I like the space
After Tanya's comment I have to repost this!
