Hey Chris - not sure what the best way to reach you was but I was going through the one post and saw the link you posted to the MKI group. I didnt even know there was one  When I opened it up - I couldnt believe they have a pic of my black PP '81 for there home page! There is now 81 member cuz I just joined :) The one guy has a MKI registry and he had a few pics of both of my MKI's up there... Pretty cool. I didnt realize that there was such a following... of course its not like the MKII-MKIV but still impressive.
"As some of you know, I've more or less been collecting information on the various paint codes that came on the MKI's & MKII's (see the sticky in the restoration forum). That thread is "slowly" starting to taper out a bit, mostly because most of the common colors have already been listed. Right now, it's mostly the oddball colors that were on L-Type cars that I'm now looking for, as well as pretty much anything that came on a MKI. As soon as I can get my act together, I need to join the MKI Yahoo list at http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/toyotamkisupraandcelicaxx/ and start bugging these guys for their paint codes.
My next project that I want to start, is a listing of all of the possible interior/trim codes that came on the MKI's & MKII's. Like what I did w/ the paint codes, I'll use the listing that came from David Cotter's TSRP page & add things as I go along & make a few corrections to the current stuff.
