That's a nice screen shot... but November. Dude, that's just too long. Yeah I want it to be finished, but it's so far away.

Can you change the look of the cars with a bodykit or anything? I liked that about Tokyo Extreme Racer Zero, I just think it'd look funny taking a factory MKIV tearing down the track...

Yay! They've got the Nurburgring! Wonder how accurate it is.
Maybe Pike's Peak is back too (and full size this time?).

At least they're going to finish it this time. *cough*GT2*cough*

From the looks of it, it'll be worth the wait.

The Nurburgring track is unreal! I had the chance to drive it while I was stationed there in the USAF. One experience I will never forget.

Xbox is coming out with a sim to rival GT4. It's called Forza Motorsport.
I'm quite excited.

This should keep everyone happy:

http://www.gtplanet.net/forum/t-42969.html

http://www.gtplanet.net/~gtplanet/gallery/gt4cars

Beware of the first link, it is NOT computer friendly. Has about 304 pictures on the page, it'll eat up your ram for breakfast. Obviously it is not dial up friendly. The second link is a gallery listing of all the pictures, with about 20 thumbnails per page, so much easier to navigate through.

Enjoy!

BTW They are photos from E3.

only problems with GT4:
- no damage models
- cars can't flip (physics aren't realistic)
- No Porsche
- No Ferrari

Cuz no one has posted this one yet: http://ps2.ign.com/articles/515/515023p1.html

...Steering with the Logitech 900-degree wheel is perfect. The rotation on the wheel adjusts depending on what car you're driving. So, if you've got a regular passenger car, expect to turn the wheel mucho. But if you've got something like a racecar with a high steering ratio you may only have to go 180...

...One thing you won't be able to do is flip the car. Kazunori insists on consistency and excellence across all aspects. If the cars are to flip, they are to do it with real physics. The PS2 is being pushed to the limit and there's no room to include additional information to get the cars to react they way they should in the case of a roll-over. "Maybe for GT5," he said....

Just some tidbits from the story...

I'm curious if it's going to fit onto a single dvd, I heard rumors about GT3 almost being released as 2 dvds.

thats not fair, i would love to have my go round on that track...its only about 15 dollars a lap to drive, anyone with a liscense and a car can take their go at it.
