I did a modification to the forum tonight that addresses some problems people have been experiencing with sending & receiving PMs on the forum. Here's what I did:
1) Shockwave audio file installed "You have new mail waiting". If you have speakers, and they're turned on - and you have the shockwave/flash plugin in your browser, you will be able to hear this. Before you ask, yes...I've tested it and it does work.
2) Text between "Profile" and "CS.com" (on the menu) will now alert you when you have a new message in your inbox.
3) In your PROFILE: If you have marked "Pop up window on new Private Message" as YES, and you don't have a pop up blocker installed - you'll get that type of alert as well.
Hopefully this will solve our difficulties with people actually knowing when they have new mail - now there's no excuse for not checking your inbox.
