well, i tried searching and didnt come up with anything that will really help.
i have a line on some wheels from a 300zx N/A... im about 90% sure theyre 4x114.3 bolt pattern, but can anyone help me with the offset?
will they fit an L type ok?
theyre 16" about 7" wide, or so the seller guessed.
with luck i can get em this week, just hoping someone can help out with a quick response :D
thanks folks.

I'm fairly sure they are not a good offset...

I think they have too high offset to look right on a GT-S/"p-type".
Googled "300zx 4 lug offset" and got:
http://www.z31.com/wheelsandtires.shtml
Looks like if they're 4 lug 16x7, then they are prob anniversary edition, so prob. 20 or 30 mm.

Would be a nice fittment for a L - Type with no protective rubber trim...

thanks folks, i googled but the couple pages i looked at before going to look at the wheels didnt tell me much.
went to look at them, and the guy is a tard, asking way too much for junk brand wheels with crappy tires.
i thought about a counter offer, but i figure i wasted enough time, after going there twice, cause he wasnt home the first time, after telling me he would be.

did lots of searching for 300z wheels and never found 16x7 in a 4 lug pattern. just read thru the article and i think this still holds true.

The anniversary wheels were 5 lug IIRC. Besides that they are extremely rare car especially today. That and they are a pretty dated wheel design not to mention impossible to keep clean.

nah, they were "prime" 16x7s with a mesh design.
barely any lip, maybe 1" so i dont think they would have looked good, and the center caps have to be the ugliest ive ever seen.
but regardless, he was asking way too much

280zx's were the last of the 4 luggers. 84'+ 300z's had 5 lugs...

The NA '84-'86 300ZX cars were 4x114.3 with a center bore of 66.1. Those front hubs will fit our car also.
'84-'86 Turbo and all '87 and up cars are 5x114.3 with 66.1 center bore.

strange, all the n/a 300ZX I've seen in the junkyard had 5 lug wheels *shrug* I too thought the 280ZX were the last w/ 4 lugs....there's a site for the old Z cars that have a lot of wheels. google 280ZX and you should find some

Josephs NA 300ZX was 4 bolt.

86 N/A models had 5-lugs as well.
84-85 N/A 300ZX's had 4-lug 15x6.5 wheels
86-89 N/A 300ZX's had 5-lug 15x6.5 wheels
84-85 Turbo 300ZX's had 5-lug 15x6.5 wheels
86-89 Turbo 300ZX's had 5-lug 16x7 wheels
84 Turbo 300ZX Anniversary Edition wheels are 5-lug 16x7 (same as the 86 wheels).
There were a few different types of wheels:
84-85 N/A's had one type
86 N/A's had one type
87-89 N/A's had on type
84 AE and 86 Turbo's had one type (84 AE wheels had gold spokes)
87 Turbos had on type
88-89 Turbos had one type (same as 87, but lighter colour)
88 SS Turbos had one type (same as 87-89, but white)
Hope that helps.
Here's some pics:

86 N/A:

87-89 N/A:

84-85 Turbo:

84 AE and 86 Turbo:

87 Turbo:

88-89 Turbo:

88 SS Turbo:

So that leaves you with basically only the 84-85 N/A wheels which, IMO, aren't that good looking at all.

Those Z31 5 bolt hubs fit our front spindles. If you can get them cheap pick some up. Once we find a simple solution to convert our rears to 5 bolt it will give us a bigger selection of wheels.

werent the anniversary editon of the 300zx the 5 stud? or did they make them non turbo? my old 84 300zx was the twin turbo 5 bolt rims, 16X7
I think they have too high offset to look right on a GT-S/"p-type".

Z31s were single Turbo only. Z32s were offered in Twin Turbo form.
