which cars do the 3.73 LSD (F303) came from.... I was still scavanging the junkyard for the gears or a lower ratio for the MK2 and i only found 3 3.73 gears non lsd from 3 83-84 Toyota pick ups

82 Supra P types are the only source I know of for the actual LSD rear end. If all you want are the ring and pinion gears you don't need to get them from a LSD rear, they are the same either way.

well if i can't find some decent 3.73 LSD from the 82 mk2 then i will have to settle with the r&p from the truck... there is 3 in our local junkyard and easy to get to and cheap

Itsuki, I've been all over Northern VA as far south as Richmond to every J-yard I can find, and none of them have had a 3.73 LSD... So I've given up and am going the R&P swap direction...

What diffs you guys have at the moment? Heres me who wants another diff and all he has access to at the moment is two 3.73 LSD's :P

I believe Bob and I have the same 4.10 LSD on our MK2 and going 3.73 for better gearing

Are they Limited Slip 4.10? I have a Tacoma 2wd w/3.42's i'm looking for 3.73 or 4.10 LSD.

I haven't been to the junkyard for the R&P 3.73... when I get a chance for a nice sunny day this weekend i will get all those 3.73 gears i can get and if anyone wants one let me know... last time i saw there was 3 trucks with 3.73

depending on price id like one of those. all i need is the r&p. i have a true trac waiting on a 3.727 r&p for install.

well for the ring and pinion... the junkyard has a base price of 30.00... so i was just thinking just pay for the r&p + the shipping to you.

How many miles on those 3.73 diffs? Im looking for somthing relativly low mileage. How about the whole pumpkin? probably a lot more $$ I guess, eh?

about 140K on the one I just pulled out the other day... I have to look again for the mileage for the other 3.73... but mostly it is already in the 200k... and for the whole hogs head... it would be 70+core+shipping.... and it is a open diff... so might as well just settle with the R&P for the shipping for the hogs head would be costly....

You try Sunny's Auto Parts in culpeper??? That where I got my 4.10 and from what I saw the had a few celicas/supras lying around. course this was a year ago. I walked out of there w/ the diff for 25 bucks :lol:

I was just there about a month or so ago, and I only saw 1 Mk II Supra and no celicas... and the Supra looked like the vultures had torn it the hell up already... I was in a hurry tho, so maybe I missed some.. I'll hafta go and check again.
