aww come on Chris, I shared my horrendous times with you! Post 'em up.
My cars best times were 10.4-10.7, best 60' was a 2.4
My launching sucked. I'm used to launching on dry pavement, not a track stickier than molasses. I also didn't do any burnouts to warm the tires. After I got through the launch, the car hauled ass, but my 60's killed me. Need more practice, practice, practice. But I think I'mma wait until after dyno day to race again

I'm guessing you have street tires Tanya, no need to warm those up. Just kills the tread when you do that, you won't get anymore grip. (It is fun though...)

eh, well nothing I did worked. I tried to drive around the water box, which was virtually impossible. I tried burning out once, and the ass end started sliding towards the wall, so scratch that. I made about 7 runs before I burned the clutch and called it a night
:?
Chris needs to post up his times so I don't feel so bad
:D

doing a little burnout isnt just for warming up the tires... it also gets all the dirt off the tires so that you dont get as much wheel spin off the line.

my best 1/8 mile was a 9.8 i believe.

nah for me the 1/8th mile is closest to me, the 1/4 mile is almost 2 hours away. I'd rather embarass myself at an 1/8th mile for now, lol

4th run 4 grand feathering of the clutch awesome launch(well best of night) 2.764 60' time and a 11.407 1/8th time SLOW AS HELL. I :)

2.764 60ft time was the best of the night? ouch, i was hitting 2.2's and was pissed. keep practicing. use a higher rpm and slip the clutch more agresivly, keep it on the edge of wheelspin.

I think we need wider back tires...
