Does anyone have pics/ can get pics of where exactly i need to bash out to fit the r154? Just saves me a bit of stuffing around..i know im a lazy bastard :wink:

Yeah, it's just like those pics, and only on the pass. side.

For what it's worth, i had a hell of a time trying to hammer out the tunnel enough for the r154 to slide right in. i only had a propane torch handy, probably something hotter would have done it. The car was also an auto, if perhaps the tunnel on autos were narrower, but probably not. I burned all the insulation crap off, heated the metal for a good long while, hammered a lot, test fit trans, and repeated. I noticed the tunnel move quite a bit the first few times, but there was certainly a point of diminishing returns-- by notice I mean I'd put the trans up again and see how much less space between the frame and xmember I needed. So I called it quits after quite a bit of hammering. Originally I needed like a 1.5" spacer, now I am still having to space it down ~3/4"-1".
