i have a weird question, is there hidden vin numbers on a celica supra, or any car? my friend said that cars come with hidden vin numbers other than the one on the door, on the dash and two on the firewall. just a weird question that my friend and i were talking about. any help to prove him wrong would be great, or vice versa.
I've torn apart several Celica Supras and the ones you mention are the only VIN locations I've ever seen.
I've also heard that some more modern cars (especially the more expensive ones) may have VINs stamped into other locations, but I can't confirm that.

You only have 3 vin # on the supra, but on the firewall, you have the production number written on it, which is the last 7 number of the vin number.

The last digits of the vin denote the place 'sequentially' in a range of numbers.
The only 'hidden' number I know of is stamped on top of the radiator support. It's supposedly tells the week in the month the car was made. Another 'sequential' placeholder; but not really hidden.

No hidden numbers on the MKII. However, on the MKIV there are VIN labels attached to all major body panels (fenders, hood, doors, quarters, etc). The absence of these labels allows one to know if a specific panel has been replaced since only the original panels have the labels, replacements are plain.
My first time in the spotlight was from a helicopter.
