well, tonight i was talking to a dude with an ae86, met him on the street and we were blabbin cars, hes got a pretty nice 1987 corolla gts with a fairly built 4age, pretty fast too.

but anyways, i found out hes using 90 or 91 acura integra injectors.
is there anyone who can confirm this swap?
i dont have any more detail than that, he just told me he grabbed them from an integra at the junkyard, im guessing it was the b18 engine :?

got me curious though, because he said he swapped them in because they flow more than the stock 210s... now, im not really sure why youd need to flow more fuel on a 4age, but i guess considering how the car runs, its fairly well set up.

thanks for any help folks :)

Well, Iwhile I can;t confirm this specifically, I have heard of Honda Guys running mk III 440's... so its reasonable to assume that it could be done. So long as its the proper feed type (top, not side) and the voltage is correct, I see no reason at all to be honest. Did the guy give ya any flow rates on them?

I vaguely remember someone talking about this in the past. I believe they were around 240cc injectors.

Hey bob, think we can drop the static pressure enough to run 240cc without f'n the spray pattern?

I do believe that the integra engines have a high impediance system

Billy... still waitin on an Answer from RC Engineering. If what I am thinking is corerect tho, it may even be possible to do with as large as 295's, so long as the high Ohm injectors, and not the low ohm style. I KNOW you can do it with 210's... and in my conversations with Corky Bell, he said he felt that I could go as large as 25% over stock, drop the fuel pressure and be ok.... 25% over 185 works out to be 231... couple that with one or two teeth leaner on the AFM , and sounds like money to me!

I went direct with BEGI. No middle man or nothing. Figured less lead time that way and everything. They should have them in stock now.. I spent 4 weeks waiting for them to get the parts in from the Machine shop to get mine... Think all told, it was $360 or $370 shipped... The kit is pretty damn complete (Even has a fuel pressure guage!) , the only thing missing is an adaptor for the Banjo bolt that connects the fuel rail to the fuel line... Female to Hose barb type... I forget the size needed... I have it written down somewhere, but I can't find it now, and too damn tired to remember what it is clearly... something x 1.25....
