Just thought of something. I installed my new 7M A/C compressor today on the mk2 and noticed that there is a solid plate where the fittings are. I have to take it off and replace it with my old one. I guess it seals the oil until you're ready to use it. Anyways, I know the 5M compressor also has a plate there. Unfortunately I sold my 5M compressor, so I can't compare the two. Anyone have both they could check out for me? I was going to make custom A/C lines, but if just swapping the plates over could be an easy solution I would be very happy. I like the 5M fittings better anyways.
