pinion seal leaking (yes I searched)

My local technician tells me my pinion seal is leaking on the rear diff. How alarmed should I be? I'm losing maybe an ounce a night. It has definitely gotten worse the last few days and I've only had the car three weeks. It drives quite well. I will not be doing this repair myself and am wondering how much this will cost. Any advice is appreciated.

You should be ok as long as you keep it filled up. But losing fluid that fast. Would makek me get it fixed as soon as possible. It's not that hard just to replace the seal. Should be able to get it done for under $100.
