How do I install the the EPC?

How do I install the EPC on my computor. My computer is a sony vaio laptop. I tried loading the ziped one from the japanese website and the unziped one from yankee.com I think. Neither worked.

I've heard theres something about it being an old program and it not recognizing gigs of memory. Apparantly I need to use a computer with a small memory or a harddrive partition. Can anyone explain in simple terms what I need to do? :?

The EPC program is very old which means it does not understand todays
massive hard drives. There are two solutions to this problem. First, you
can copy random data to your hard disk into a temporary folder until the error
goes away. You can delete the data after you install the program. Second, you
can install to a much smaller hard drive and then copy the program to your
larger drive.

They suggest that it doesn't like drives over 6GB but I installed onto a 20GB drive without any problems.

As you've got a laptop adding another drive means getting an external one. Expensive unless you've already got one.
Changing the partition sizes would work, but that would mean reformatting your harddrive, so you probably don't want to do that.
You could try their idea of temporarily filling your drive up so that there's less than 6GB free to fool it and then delete the files after. Don't know if this would work or not, but it's easy enough to try.
