I have ran into a problem. I was working on my new radio system in my car and I cut some of the wires i didnt need, (the old speaker wires, and a black wire with a red stripe). Anyways, I thought I did a perfect job because the radio worked seamlessly. Anyways when I was finished The headlight motors would not pop up. The headlights work, and everything else works except for the fact that the headlights will not pop up. When i put them up manually they will retract. Help! I need to know what happend, I must have cut a wrong wire? Or could it be something else?

I had that problem when I installed my radio too

It's not important, it's just the fuse that is dead. Change it, it's under the hood, next to the battery, it's a 15 A fuse if I remember well.

Your lights will pop-up again :)

O man Thanks a bunch. I thought it might be the fuse, I remember checking it to see if it was Ok. I better double check it once again!

does your horn work, i once had a problem with my horn pad staying on, and i removed the horn fuse, after that the headlights never went up.

There's also a fusable link that hooks on the positive battery terminal that controls that. Mine did the same thing. Thank God for parts cars. 8)

if you have an 85/85 the haz/horn fuse is related to the operation of the headlights ...either they won't go up, or not go down when the fuse is blown
