One of the cars at a local wrecker i've been peeling parts off of has all the makings of an 84, including non-heated mirrors, non-lighted door handles, and a sunshade on the hatch, yet the door lists the build date as april 1985. Did they really build past-model years that late into the "current" year?
it's also poo brown, supra-encyclopedites - do we have the poo-brown paint code?

See if the door VIN and the Chassis VIN match. If they don't then it is a replacement door. If they do, then the hatch may have been replaced.

AlanGbut then what of the non-lighted door hinge, assuming the door is original. I'll have to get back there and check one day.
