Hi everyone just signed up. Some guy fron rccrawler.com said to come check out the site. Here I am.

Little about me. I'm a mechanic for a avionics repair facility.

Traded a 93 chevy for my supra 2 years ago. I only get about 3k miles per set of rear tires.
Love the car. Looking to go with a 7m/5m motor hybrid in the next few months.

I am an owner of a black '85 Toyota Supra located in Elk Mound, WI and will be looking forward to everyone here at "celicasupra.com" for future help (tips and tricks) on my 2JZGTE non-VVTI engine swap. But, before I go and purchase a 2JZGTE non-VVTI engine... I'm not sure of which sump location I should get? (The front or the rear sump location?) Anyways, I have been searching online for which type to get but some got the front ones and some got the rear ones... Which one fits better for a MK2? (And right here at "www.celicasupra.com" it says to get a front sump location one... but I just want to confirm that if I am right?)

Hi all,

My father moved out to the Middle East three years ago, becoming permanent this year,...

Hi all,

My father moved out to the Middle East three years ago, becoming permanent this year, and last month he decided instead of bringing his Toy out with him, he gave it to me instead!

I'm now the proud owner of a Celica Supra Mark II, 1986 model (I assume it's a P-type but this was around the year when everything gets a little messy!) with digital dash, 100,000 miles, before my family ONE owner from new (twenty years!), perfect-condition 2.8l engine and a few tweaks - stainless sports exhaust, free-flow air filter and a full Sony ICE setup. After the exhaust was done, it was put on a dyno and showed 176 horsepower at the flywheel, which is damned impressive for a car that is nearly 30 years old!

I know I'm very young to own one of these beasts (23) so I hope I can get some tips and advice for taking care of this classic car. I was given permission to sell it, but after I discovered I could get affordable insurance I've decided I'm going to run it instead of my Ford Puma. I know which one will turn more heads! It's been in a dry garage for three years, brought out one every eighteen months to start it up (which it's done first turn of the key), and a local mechanic is going to send it through its MOT tomorrow. It passed the last one perfectly and hasn't been touched since.

The car's in beautiful condition; its first owner was so obsessive that he kept the stickers off the tyres as part of the almost-complete service history (only the first is missing!). The body is in great shape with a bit of superficial rust on the tailgate and sunroof but as far as I'm aware nothing structural. The engine's got huge power and torque, and the exhaust sounds epic. I am really looking forward to putting this machine on the road!

Oh, and my dad decided to fill the hole left by the Supra... with a brand new Dodge Challenger R/T! Traitor ;)

Hello my fellow Supra fans. I got this 1982 supra when i was 18, it had 202k on it when i picked it up. I drove past it for weeks on my way to work, and when the probe gave up, it was the first car I looked at. After about 35,000 abusive miles, spun the rod bearing on cylinder 2. After years of slug-paced work, it is almost back together, doing most of the work this last month.

It is a Terra Cotta, P-type, 5-speed with the red w/black piping interior. It had the mud flaps added before i got the car and I found an aftermarket sunshade for it. It is currently sitting on BFGoodrich radial T/A's, 215/60R14 Front, 265/50R14 Rear. I have rebuilt the engine myself, minus machining, and have my fingers crossed.

I put some upgrades into it, so it should go and stop alot better than it used to. It is bored out .030 over and I boosted the compression, i have no exhaust left so i will get a full performance system, and an intake pipe/filter will add some power. I got slotted front rotors, EBC red stuff pads and new rear pads to help me stop. There is not alot of rust, i want to fix that up because it desperately needs to be painted.
