    Small Defrost Vents for moulding

Hey Guys i have a pair of small defrost vents I am saving as spare back up vents just incase mine get damaged. Would anyone be interested in using them to create a mould? I see people asking for these vents all the time.

    Gerry,
I think Dave meant "Let them BE reproduced. ... Sick thoughts come to mind... Get in touch with Greg, a.k.a., Mr. Whiskers. In the background, I'm hearing.... Greg, Greg, He's our man. If he can't do it, no one can. If it can be reasonably done, he'll figure it out. And thanks from all of us! You 'da man!

Thanks Doc, from my experience with whiskers, it's best to work with mint (or near mint in the least). Nice of you to offer G, but it's really not worth the trouble nor the expense to mould if not A++

The ones that I have are near mint and even with them I'm on the fence....holding out for NOS

I do molding and casting as a hobby for costume props and stuff. I've been messing with toy cars and stuff and JDM badges as well. I'd be willing to give it a go with molding the defrost vents if no one else wants to. Let me know.

I snapped some pics of some stuff I've made.

I had to bump up the exposure for this because matte black is hard to pick up. Fun fact: I have one of the original sculpts for the hot wheels 1982 Supra as my dad used to work for Mattel in the 80's. They gave it to him.
