    In tank pump,I'll assume.
Pinched line? Low voltage to pump?
If the line is clogged,it will make a horrific whine. The noise of death.
Maybe a fuel filter issue. That is NOT what you wanted to hear.

With Dave on that, also check to see if your fuel filter is not clogged because clogged filter = killing the pump in short order, not only this but it will limit horsepower because you will only get so much fuel to burn.

Walbros are notorious for being noisy as hell. This is why I trashed mine and used an OEM 2JZGTE fuel pump. It flows something like 270lph and is quiet as a mouse.

Just that particular Walbro pump. I have one of the 485s and its oem quiet and so far been reliable. I wouldn't run one of the 255s though they have a lousy reputation...

I ended up doing the same thing Tanya mentioned above. Could not stand the constant whine from the Walbro, especially when the gas level was low.

maybe clogged fuel system (filter, lines, etc...). That's what it was with me once, and the filter replacement did help. Hoping you'll figure it out, man!
