I'll check out the moonroof more next time I'm looking at it.
Here are the 1JZ engines it came with:

This one came with a harness, no plastic valve bridge cover, "2.5 TWIN TURBO" written on one metal valve cover, and JZ2 embossed on the back of the head.

This one is mostly stripped and doesn't have any writing on the valve covers, no harness and JZ1 embossed on the back of the head.

Both are front sumps. I'm guessing the JZ2 one is a newer model. Can't find any mention of VVTI.

You'd know if the newer one had vvt, it would have a giant intake cam gear bump on the timing cover. It was just variable valve timing the later 1js had, no VTec (the i in VVTI)

I also got a brand new set of Brian Crower cams in the package so I'll have to decide what engine to put those into.

The moonroof looks like it can seal well but the mechanism is there right now to suck it down. Unfortunately, it looks a little scratched up.

    All wrapped up for winter:

A moonroof is glass, you have just a regular factory power sunroof car there.
