We have a new Supra enthusiast!

Weighing in at 9lbs, 4.4oz, and measuring 22 and 3/4in long, baby Deidra was born on 12/28/16. A few of you know me and my wife were expecting our first child, most did not. Anyhow, this is why I have not been very active lately, been busy getting everything ready for her arrival. Now that she is here, I can work on getting our routine figured out and maybe start tinkering again, though it'll likely be awhile.

    Congrats, DAD!

I still remember bringing our son home from the hospital in October of 1986.

Treasure these days....they really do grow up all too soon.

We all hope she grows up to be an enthusiast but sometimes that gearhead gene skips a generation. But nature vs nurture, just put a shift knob in her crib instead of a doll or a baseball glove and she'll be assisting you in the garage in no time at all.

    Congrats Will!

I'm a year and a half into my first. Too be honest, if you have some tinkering you want to get done, the next 6ish months is the best time. The first month is rough, but they sleep a lot in the first few months, then when they're not mobile for the next 6 or so they're not actually too much work. Once they start crawling, they tend to tire out whomever is currently looking after them and then shop time becomes really sparce lol.

That sad, its been a fantastic experience and I love my kid to bits, wouldn't have it any other way. Its just about attaining some level of balance.

Lucky for me I have her grandma, and great grandma, and aunt's etc.. in the picture that have been begging for her. lol. Getting time shouldnt be too much of a problem. Money for parts, well, thats a different story.

    Oh you say that now.

We have 2 grandmas living within 15 minutes so we're pretty lucky in that way too. One of them takes him every sunday for about 4 hours in the afternoon. That means I get approximately 4 hours of shop time minus dropoff/pickup time every week lol.
