It was the key switch that was stuck on off. Now it's been replaced but with that being done I somehow messed up the teeth on steering column and can't get my steering wheel back on. ??
I don't know if you even needed to remove the steering wheel for that. Try cleaning the splines on the steering column and wheel, perhaps with a Dremel. After cleaning the grooves, don't force it on till you know it's aligned.
The car was parked outside with a flat tire and got a notice it was gonna be to weed so I had to break the steering lock and that's why that came off. But good idea, I might just do that!!
You need to get the lock cylinder in the ACC position.
Pick the lock,if you have to. I could do it.
