1983 Toyota Supra on EBay with 81,000 Miles $6k obo

    http://www.ebay.com/itm/252790482232...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

1983 Toyota Supra with 81,000, slick top!

It appears to have spent a couple winters on the Wisconsin roads, but it is originally from Texas and Kansas. It has a small crack on the dash. The history seems unknown, according to the Car Check is was purchased at an auction prior to ending up on this used car lot.

I'd be interested in buying it, but I think I am going to hold out for the mint condition 1985 Silver Supra 5 speed slick top, (it will show up any day now, I hope....)

    What do you guys think?

PS. The seller emailed some undercarriage photos to me, I can forward them to you if you would like. The underside looked solid, but it did look like it had been driven in the winter a bit...

Definitely been repainted, it looks like it's missing the headlight squirters and whiskers.

So what would your guess be at the value of this Supra? I'd be tempted to use it as a Daily summer driver.

Yikes... interior faded to hell, repaint. Seems like a tacky dealer price. Would really need to see it in person, but I don't feel like $6k is really reasonable for that amount of unoriginality.

That car was on craigslist for a long time. For a couple years, trying to be sold by owner. I remember he mentioned a repaint. He also had collectors plates on them. No interest, so he must've traded it in.
