    Celica Supra Rear Bash Bar

Hello all, my name is Jeremy Razo and I've been a part of this community since 2008. For some reason I couldnt gain access to my old account ( Razo-S.supra ).

Well since my bumper is thrashed and dont have time right now to look or buy another one, sand, prep and paint it. Why not throw a bash bar on?! (if its not your thing I understand)

So i've been emailing Street Faction back and forth and rose some interest. He said if I were able to gather at least 5 orders that he'd be able to design one for our vehicles. It would either be a straight bar or straight bar with these combos

    1. basic bar
    2. Jacking point
    3. basic with tow point
    4. basic with license bracket (not needed on ours since its up high between the tails.
    5. basic with license bracket and tow point
    6. Jack point with tow
    7. Jacking with license and tow point

. Here are some links to look at.

Is it possible to put the bumper cover back on with the bash bar?

Good question, possible reasons why it may not is---->
    1. the jacking point that they may provide wont have the room to mount the rear bumper
    2. the slant of our rear bumper.

but again I dont know for sure. I know once we raise enough interest Id be dropping off my car while he makes the prototype. From there we can try to fit the cover over it. The concept I usually see is no bumper with the bash bar. Except on the front. Usually the bumper is able to cover the bar.

It looks like a weight-saving idea, but would detract from the looks of the car,IMO.
    I like the battery box.

For some it may not be something they want to put on because to them it is not aesthetically pleasing. But for me I dont mind, my car is kinda far from stock looks and mechanically wise. The "race car" look is basically what its turned into. So a bash bar is right up my alley. That battery box is Killer though. Defintely slappin that on when i relocate my battery to the back.

I'd be down for the front/rear if we can get our bumper covers to fit. Want the added safety these bars offer.

They basically need 5 people to buy.in to consider making a design. Basically so its worth their time for r&d. They wont just make one. So this would essentially be a group buy but this members is too new to do that im assumig.

if they made the horizontal bars 2 tier with a few braces between (Like a nascar door bar )

i'd imagine you'd be able to fit the bumper covers over the top. There are a few 10mm bolts to hold it to the main crash beam at the bottom on the rear one , so that would need a bit of working out to look nice. Totally doable though
