7mgte(stock for the first little bit)/full stand alone feul
I'm doing an 7mgte swap in my 84 supra and plan on using a full stand alone feul system to run the car that means i throw away my stock computer and get rid of all that stupid wiring does anyone have any experience with these system exanple: fast systems, aem, ect... How hard or expansive is it to get your car running the way you want any info would be nice

I would wait for the AEM plug'n'play for the 7M. With the AEM you can download the software and manuals to learn the system. Plus AEM has a nice online board as well. Although if you are doing to avoid the wiring headaches you are just going to aquire programming headaches. For standalones other than the AEM the entire engine needs to be rewired anyway. The AEM plug'n'play use the factory plugs so the wiring would be the same as if you were using a factory ECU. Depending on which system you go to you might also need to redo all the engine sensors with GM ones.
