If you are anything over about 21 years old, I doubt you'll like it. Sounds really cool stoplight to stoplight, but after a few miles on the freeway you won't be able to stand it anymore.

UBER LOUD!!!!
Monkey Boy Aaron G. had one of these on his 85 Blackpra after he 1st bought it. Was following him a few times on the freeway & I thought there was a low flying Cessna above me. Took awhile before I figured out it was Aaron.
Sounds loud w/ a lumpy sort of sound to it. Unless you have a high tolerance, your ears are going to hate it on long drives. Plan on earplugs, or turn the stereo up REALLY LOUD....Chris Eng

Yea... flowmasters sound a little like shit.
...a lot like shit, those style mufflers just irk me, always have a single rpm band that sounds like absolute ass, mine 40-series on my first mk2 was at 1800-2200rpm, cruising speed.
...look elsewhere for a muffler, please.

Ditto... I've got a magnaflo and love it, great flow and nice and quiet. Flomasters are great if you want to hang with a pack of honduhs and fit in.

I have a flowmaster on my daily driver 84 Auto. Sounds just great to me, not too loud at all. It has a domestic sound to it, gurgly and deep.
The only reason it is not loud is because I have the stock 17" cat in place. If I did not have a cat, then I would imagine it would be super loud.Just your average MK2 owner...
