    Supra vs. MT ET drags

Supra won. I made one pass (12.5xx @ 113.xx) and tore about a half inch wide section all the way around the right slick. Lucky for me these we're old slicks that were gonna come off anyway.

Unfortunately we didn't shave enough sheetmetal while affixing the new flares. I launched hard and there goes the slick (actually still usable). I was running 18psi in the ET drags, which is too much air. Even though I spun through first, it pulled harder than ever. A 1.8 60' is OK, but should get better by the Supra Shootout next weekend.

damn, 1.8, sweet. id love to hit that wit hthe nitto's. also, ill prolly get the 15x8's with a 5-5.5in backspacing to tuck the tires in so i dont end up with this problem. prolly 5.5in backspace. itll look wierd, but shouldnt rub the flares. also, what springs and shocks you using? ive got st's with insulators on top and bottom and some gasadjusts from a trooper 2. pretty damn stiff.

get some stiffer rear springs to stop that squat and you should be good. also, what width rims are those and what backspacing? i think im still gonna order mine to tuck in so no worries of rubbing or breaking a flare.
