Ricer Kanji Tatoos - Hanzi Smatter
I heard a funny piece on NPR today about a website called Hanzi Smatter (Hanzi being Chinese for characters and smatter being the english smatter - like a smatter of knowledge, where the guy "translates" as best he can various tatoos, tee-shirts, and such. He got the idea when he saw a Mitsubishi, that that stickers all over it saying Prelude (Honda) in Kanji. This sounds so ricey.
The NPR segment is here:

Chinese Character Tattoos: Lost in Translation (he also does Japanese characters)
And the website is here:

Some of my favorites are:
The sound of ding-dong (is the wicked witch of the west dead?)
Boy bad (vice bad boy)
Giant Root
Crazy diarrhea
Forever Protector of Old Ladies
This is sort of the reverse of Engrish (Japanese English that makes little or no sense). I wonder what else really is on cars?
