For those of you (especially the noob's) who want to know how to pull & read your Check Engine Codes that are stored in the TCCS computer, you need to click on one of the following links.

83 & 84 owners need to go here:

http://www.personal.psu.edu/rae125/checkeng.html

85 & 86 owners have a more simplified version here in the 86 online TSRM:

http://www.cygnusx1.net/supra/library/TSRM_MKII/fi/FI_022.html

Difference between the two??? Old version, you look at the number of times the needle moves on a analog multimeter. New version, you count the number of blinks on the dashboard CE light.

Sorry 82 owners, you're out of luck. The 82's do not have TCCS motors, as they were not introduced until the 83 model year. Thus 82's don't have a Check Engine light on the dash...
