    Camshaft front oil seal

Is it necessary to remove the rear timing belt cover to change
the camshaft front oil seals ?
If ss, it requires another seal, the one with a race track look IIRC

well...it wouldn't hurt to replace that gasket, they do leak often...and its only a few more bolts to get to...I would suggest replacing it. Have fun.

I have just replace both on my 83. it was hard for me to get the rear seal i had to go to the dealer and buy it there. it was fun my car was leaking oil from the back seal and to make it worst i broke one of the bolt trying to tight them up cause i thought they were loose. I did change all the seals so it's a good project to do not that expensive. i will be changing the camshaft seal on my other supra as soon as i get tags for the one that i just worked on.
