The kid with the 22/3-r/tc mk1 said the 2.0L from the s2k would be a perfect motor for a swap. I'm going to give it a shot... It has tons of torque.

lollerskate. F20C in a Mk2 would be silly. 153 ft/lbs at 7500rpm... gag.
2JZ-GE makes similar power, more torque, costs less to get, can use the factory tranny and has motor mounts available. It's also documented and, although it's a guess, I'd wager that the wiring is easier in most cases.--Peter--

05-16-2006, 02:40 PM #8Heh, the 5MGE may be old technology, but I kinda like having 130ft/lbs at 1,700rpm and staying that way or more until 5,000rpm... at 7,000rpm torque is just about gone, but by then I've already shifted anyhway, so what's the point?

05-17-2006, 12:48 PM #10That's retarded, have you ever even driven a Honda with VTEC? I'm guessing not because even before the VTEC changeover the car is pulling quite well. The last 2000rpm kick in the pants is awesome, just gotta shift quick to keep it off the rev limiter.
