Lsd?
Did Toyota make a LSD for the MarkI? I'm using a axle out of an Supra for a project but it's not LSD. Trying to not buy one just yet but use factory if one exist.

Have to get one from Canada for 'stock' LSD.
81 was 3.73, 79-80 was 3.9?.

Ken was pretty close. The 79 - 80 was a 3.91 ratio.
The US Spec MKI's never did get a LSD rear. So far it's looking like all of the Canadian Spec MKI's did. We do have a bunch'o Canadian MKI owners here, they may have access to a few.Chris Eng

Muchbzy, I have a spare(s) LSD but I am a fair distance from NC and am not sure how to go about shipping + cost of shipping that distance especially across the border.

Here's a bad pix of the firewall ID plate for you to hurt your eyes on.

Make me an offer if there is a way to get it where you are.
I wanted to swap this into my 79 MKI, but everything has it's price.
Make the offers $-HIGH-$ if you want me to part with it. Shipping extra.

I've got the front steering assembly from the 81 too.

CJ,
A MK2 LSD will work in a MK1 axle with the MK1 R&P. Damon was running a MK2 LSD in his 7M car for along time. If you can't find one LMK, I may have one here for you that I could bring down to Damon's.1984 P-type Super Red/Grey leather 7MGTE/W58
