    Celica XX Info

    Hey guys, I'm in the process of adding more stuff to my website, including a Celica XX page. It's pretty hard compiling information when 99% of it is in a language I can't read, and website translators hack everything up, LOL

    I'm a little confused about the transmissions available and gear ratios... can anyone here check the information I have compiled and correct any mistakes for me please?

    I have PMed Rosso, but would also like to share this with the forum.


    XX models & Engines

    2000G, S, L 1G-EU (1981-1982 125hp 127tq / 1983-19851 130hp 127tq )
    2800GT 5M-GEU (1981-1985 145hp, 150tq, 150hp, 155tq... etc etc...)
    2000G, 2000S turbo M-TEU(1982 145hp 156tq )
    2000GT twin cam 24 1G-GEU (1982-1985 160hp 133tq )
    2000G,S turbo M-TE( 1983-1985 160hp 170tq)

    2000L is out.
    Some exterior changed due to Japanese law have been changed(Finally allows door mirror, spoilers, and 60 tires.).
    Tail lamp, front turn signal, front bumper, rear bumper, and door knob also have changed.
    2000G gets sports type seats.
    5M-GEU gets power up and changed AT trans mission.
    1G-GEU final gear have been changed.
    M-TEU gets water inter cooler and powered up.
    Fuel pump changed to in-tank pump from out-tank type for all Celica XXs.

    Any mention of which cars had limited slip differentials (assuming they had that option at all)?
