    Speedomteer

Hey i have an 82 supra. My speedometer works good until it hits about 55 and over, and it starts to jump back and forth anywhere from 5 to 8 mphs. Also i not very fimilar with the terms but where all the 3 pulleys are located on the bottom right part of the engine looking into the engine. Is their anything i can do to fix this problems that i'm having. Also my battery light and e-brake light is on, could that be the alt going out or something else

charge and e-brake lights indicate that your alternator isn't putting out sufficient amperage. It will most likely have to be rebuilt or replaced.

On speedometer, it might be just worn out cable.
    Old cable makes speedometer jumping.

you need to regrease the speedo cable. Bit of a job, but after you pull it out thru the firewall, shouldn't be much effort.
